Writing books for those who believe there is something more!

My Writing Story

Writing has always been in my blood. My love of books started before I was a teen when I cut my teeth on Sci-Fi, Robert Heinlein’s Stranger in a Strange Land and have been an avid reader ever since. Later, I found Lord of the Rings and expanded my love of reading to include Fantasy. By 18 years of age, I knew I wanted to be an author—the dream of sitting in a coffee shop and spinning tales of adventure, bravery, adversity and grief, love and friendship, overcoming insurmountable odds, and creating the unimaginable.

The passion has never left me and I’ve tried writing more than a dozen manuscripts over the years. However, as most of us find out, “Life Interruptist” prevented my full attention until 2012. I live in Southern California with my beautiful and fetching wife, along with an exceedingly talkative cat, Mr. Bentley. You can find me most days at a local coffee shop, my head buried in my laptop, and filled with gratitude, I continue to follow the dream.

Fantasy is all about creating characters that are believable and surrounding them in the richness of a world that feels authentic. My greatest joy comes from a Reader connecting with my characters and the world I’ve imagined.

Personal Life

Over the years, I obtained a Master of Science in Information Systems, and since I tended to get bored easily, I worked in the private and public sectors, academia, and the ministry field. However, this diverse work life provided me with a wealth of experience that has helped me to understand my characters and the way in which they deal with their trials and tribulations that transform their lives.

The formidable process of how some characters fail, and others rise above their expectations, mimic my own personal life. The passion and fire of a life led without regret is what I hope to bring to my stories. As the Dragon-Called tells us:

Be True to Your Fire Within!

"Come with me on a journey of adventure and wonder. Together we will face long odds and bitter foes. Not all will survive, but those that do will find the Fire that burns in us all."
